Gucci Photoshoot for new aftershave and perfume!!!!

We were recently contacted by a David White Set Design http://www.davidwhitesetdesign.com/  to assist at a photo and video shoot for Gucci’s new aftershave and perfume – Bloom and Guilty. The enquiry was very short notice – we were contacted the evening before with a brief to provide various blocks of ice of different shapes and to be on set for most of the day. With a 7am start time was precious.

We arrived on set  and were told that Gucci had preferred real ice to imitation hence our involvement. We then set about creating different sections of ice as well as effects and textures, using ice for the actual shoot. With our experience of photo shoots we were able to bring additional options that the set design team had not envisaged.

Using power tools such as sanders, chain saws and routers as well as chisels we were able to create icicles, snow, ice particles drifting in the air and various textures on ice. Finishing around 8.30pm it was a long day but rewarding to see the finished results. Of course we cannot show you the finished photos and videos until they come out later in the year but some snapshots of the shoot we can show you.
